AquaSense
Swimming pools and spas use chlorine as a disinfectant and so use an analyzer to control the amount of chlorine that gets dosed. The AquaSense Swimming Pool Controller and Spa Controller measures the pool chlorine levels and the pH of the pool and then controls the chlorine and pH levels by controlling the chemical dosing. The AquaSense offers bufferless and reagentless operation and is suitable for commercial, municipal and community swimming pools.
The AquaSense has been designed to three criteria:
- Improved Safety – better sensors lead to better process control which leads to less variation in chlorine residuals even with highly variable bathing load.
- Improved Control – better process control leads to reduced chemical usage, lower costs and an improved bathing experience.
- Reduced Costs – lower chemical costs, less expensive controllers, inverter control leading to hugely reduced electrical usage costs are just a few of the ways that the AquaSense can save you money which can pay for a new controller in just a few months.

These industry standard, 2-wire, 4-20mA devices offer reverse polarity protection, under- and over-current limitation, and built-in transient protection. The EcoPRO series sensors are thermally compensated, making them great where water temperatures vary, as they are thermally stable (2% over 50 degrees standard).EX100/200 Series
Product Description
The EX100/200-Series are adjustable depth insertion magmeters that fit 3” to 48” pipe (up to 72” optional). The complete lack of moving parts of the EX100/200-Series is the source of its reliability. Brass and stainless steel models withstand a variety of temperature, pressure, and chemical conditions. The EX-Series has no rotor to stop turning in dirty water and there are no bearings to wear out. Like all magmeters, when used in chemical injection applications, these meters should be installed upstream of the chemical line (or far enough downstream to allow complete mixing of fluids before the meter). Adapters mate with standard 1-1/2” (11x/21x) or 2” (15x/25x) FNPT threaded fittings such as saddles and weldolets which may be purchased either locally or from Seametrics. A rapidly reversing magnetic field is produced in the lower housing. As the fluid moves through this field, a voltage is generated that is measured and translated into a frequency signal proportional to flow rate. This square wave signal can be sent directly to a PLC or other control or can be converted using any of the Seametrics family of indicators and converters. A modular system of electronics can be installed directly on the flow sensor or mounted remotely. The FT430 (externally powered with pulse) and the FT440 (loop powered), both provide digital rate and total displays, as well as a programmable pulse; the FT440 also provides a 4-20 mA analog output. The AO55 is a blind analog (4-20 mA) transmitter. Programmable pulse for pump pacing is available with the PD10 (available as wallmounted unit only). The “hot-tap” models (EX15x/25x) can be installed or serviced without shutting down the line by means of a 2” full-port isolation valve that comes with a nipple for installation on the pipe fitting; a bronze ball valve is standard, with a 316 stainless steel valve option if needed. In most circumstances, no special tool is required.EX800 Series
Product Description
EX800-Series insertion electromagnetic flowmeters are designed for use with conductive liquids in 1 to 12” pipe. A choice of materials (stainless steel, brass, and PVC) allows the meter to adapt to a range of temperature, pressure, and corrosive environments. The EX800 is highly suitable for difficult applications with changing viscosities and pulsating flows, such as air-driven diaphragm pumps. With no moving parts, these meters can be used in “dirty water” applications where debris would foul a mechanical meter. Like all magmeters, when used in chemical injection applications, these meters should be installed upstream of the chemical line (or far enough downstream to allow complete mixing of fluids before the meter). Designed for modularity and versatility, the EX800-Series has a currentsinking pulse output that can be combined with the appropriate transmitter or indicator for the application. For basic rate/total and pulse output, the FT430 is best. For analog output and display of rate and total, the FT440 can be used. Blind analog output is provided by the AO55. The PD10 can be used to divide the pulse for pacing chemical metering pumps. Electronic modules can be wall- or meter- mounted. (Note: PD10 available only as wall-mounted unit.) If the EX800 meter is used with a programmable controller, the output signal can be fed direct, with no other conditioning required. EX800-Series fixed depth insertion meters require special fittings. Factory installation in the fitting ensures correct depth placement in the pipe. The EX800-Series meter can be ordered in a full power model when a source of electricity is available, or in a low power model that can run on an external battery with solar panel.EX90 Series
Product Description
The EX90-series battery powered, insertion electromagnetic flow meter is designed for use with conductive fluids in 4”–12” pipe. The EX90’s stainless steel body allows the meter to operate in a wide range of temperatures, pressure, and corrosive or dirty environments. The EX90 is highly suitable for difficult applications. With no moving parts, these meters can be used in “dirty water” applications where debris would foul a mechanical meter. If the EX90 meter is used with a programmable controller, the output signal can be fed direct, with no other conditioning required. Rate and total units can be set via the front panel touch key pad by the user. Bidirectional flow is standard with totals available in forward, reverse, net, batch forward and batch reverse. The EX90 is battery powered and an output cable is available for transmitting the pulse signal to remote devices. The EX90 includes a Seametrics saddle which has been designed to accommodate a wide range of pipe sizes and types while ensuring correct placement in the pipe. In addition, an optional internal data logger allows local storage of flow history.FluoriSense

FT400 Series Rate & Total Indicator
Product Description
The FT430/440/450 flow computers are microcontroller-based indicator/transmitters that interface with pulse output flow sensors to compute and display flow rate, flow total, and also generate output signals representing flow. The FT430 and FT450 have one scaled pulse output and one pulse pass through. The FT440 has two scaled pulse outputs. Galvanic isolation is provided for most pulse outputs. The FT450 is battery powered while the FT430 may be powered by an external DC power source or an optional internal AC power supply*. The FT440 is a “two-wire” or “loop powered” device, meaning that it is powered by the 4-20 mA loop circuit itself. An optional internal AC power supply* is available for the FT440 with dual 24 and 12VDC outputs to power both the loop and sensors requiring more power than the loop can supply. Pulse and 4-20mA analog outputs can be used to signal external devices, e.g. certain metering pumps and water treatment controls. Alternatively, one or more pulse outputs can be configured as alarm outputs. These flow computers can be password protected to prevent resetting the total or changing configuration settings. The FT430/440/450 meters are available in wall and meter mount configurations. The FT430 and FT440 models can also be panel mounted. Some configurations can be converted from wall to meter or meter to wall after installation if needed. Consult factory for details. Order the FT440 only if a 4-20mA output signal is a requirement and the FT450 if internal battery power is needed. Otherwise the FT430 offers the most flexibility.- Simple Setup
